Note: Either Human Trafficking #3270 or Advanced Human Trafficking #3271 can be taken to satisfy the TCOLE Human Trafficking training requirements. Officers first licensed after January 1, 2011, must attend Human Trafficking within the first year of licensing.
The purpose of this course is to increase the law enforcement community’s awareness of the issues of human trafficking through the exposure of informational materials and research to include: victim identification and investigation techniques, rescue and prosecution considerations, referral and service provider availability, practical case studies to assist in building a coordinated community response and to obtain an inter-connectivity of state, federal and global human trafficking concerns. This course meets the requirements of TCOLE for officers to attend Human Trafficking training.
