Countywide Health & Resource Fair with AACOG & Partner Programs. Featuring AACOG Programs and Workforce Solutions Alamo, now serving McMullen County!

  • Alamo Area Agency on Aging – One-stop resource for referrals, information, benefits counseling, health and wellness, care coordination, and Ombudsman.  
  • Alamo Regional Transit – Providing transportation for people of all ages within the 13-county rural AACOG region including McMullen County and into San Antonio.
  • Resource Recovery – Provides information on saving the environment and your money through reduction, reuse, and recycling. 
  • Services for Veterans and their Families – Call-a-Ride for Vets, Veteran information and referral services, Veteran Volunteer Program, Veteran & Military Community Council, and the San Antonio Coalition for Veterans and Families Information Program.
  • Workforce Solutions Alamo (now serving McMullen County!) – Career Center Employment Services, Employer/Business Services, Child Care Services, and Youth Services.
  • Alzheimer’s Association – Non-profit organization providing 24/7 helpline (800-272-3900), information, referrals, support groups, education classes for family caregivers & professional caregivers, safety services, online programs.
  • Atascosa Health Center – Non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center providing primary medical care and behavioral health services.
  • Camino Real Community Services – A non-profit organization that provides mental health, behavioral and intellectual disability services for adults and adolescents, and Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) services for children ages birth to 3 with developmental disabilities. (McMullen and outlying counties)
  • Community Council of South Central Texas – Provides home delivered meals for seniors 60 years of age and older; clients intake, resource and referrals, case management to transition low-income families and individuals out of poverty; and Utility Assistance for low-income families and individuals.
  • Health Care Unlimited – Health Care Unlimited’s personal attendant service is a State of Texas Medical Program (authorized by insurance) that offers Provider and/or Home Health Services to qualified individuals in the comfort of their own home.
  • Other Participating Organizations: Air Methods Air Ambulance Service, Atascosa Outreach, Food Bank of Corpus Christi, Lion’s Club Mobile Eye Unit, McMullen EMS & VFD, Methodist Hospital South, South Texas Regional Home Health, Veteran’s Services, Women’s Shelter.
