2020 Planning & Zoning Workshop

The Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) in partnership with Denton, Navarro, Rocha, Bernal, & Zech (DNRB & Z) will host a free Planning and Zoning Workshop on Friday, July 21, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided by CPS Energy. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic. This workshop could be subject to change into a virtual workshop.
AACOG's annual Planning & Zoning Workshop is designed for planning commissioners, elected officials, and staff. Topics will include: introduction to planning, introduction to zoning comprehensive plans that work,the importance of planning, planning in communities with limited staff, the roles and responsibilities of a planning commissioner, and tools to implement planning.
