New Savings Program Helps Texans with Disabilities

Eligible Texans with disabilities can save in tax-advantaged savings accounts through the Texas Achieving a Better Life Experience Program. Texas ABLE® accounts can be used to pay for a variety of expenses related to the eligible individual’s health, independence and quality of life.

For program information, including the amount of savings generally disregarded to determine eligibility for government assistance and other conditions or limitations, visit TexasABLE.org.
