Introduction to Travel Training Workshop is an intensive three-day course with classroom and field instruction. Participants will receive a workbook and access to a collection of useful electronic resources ready to use when they return to work. The workshop consists of ten modules and covers strategies for training on rail systems and in rural communities in addition to the traditional fixed-route bus material.If you are NOT an AACOG ctti pass holder, please click here to register with Easter Seals and pay the fee.
There is a $300 course fee for this Easterseals Project Action Consulting Training. Lodging and travel expenses are the participants’ responsibility.

The Planning and Network Advisory Committee acts in an advisory capacity to the Alamo Local Authority for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and the AACOG Board of Directors by:
1) Contributing, reviewing, and making recommendations to the development and content of the Local Plan for services for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in Bexar County;
2) Ensuring objectivity in the ongoing implementation of the network development processes, and provider monitoring activities; and,
3) Preparing biannual reports for the AACOG Board of Directors on issues related to the needs and priorities of the local service area and implementation of plans and contracts.
