This interactive workshop is designed to assist individuals with Diabetes to take control of the stressors and hurdles faced daily while manage their chronic condition. Classes are highly participatory. Mutual support and success throughout the class series builds participants’ confidence in managing their health and maintaining active and fulfilling lives. Class participants receive a participant book as well as a relaxation CD to assist in their continued health upon completion of the class series. All participants must begin the class within the first 2 sessions (no later than May 24). Maximum benefit is obtained by attending at least 4 of the 6 sessions.
Pre-registration is required. This ensures there are the minimum number of required participants needed to begin the class series.

For HHSC to prepare a report on the provision of services at state supported living centers required by Texas statute (Texas Health and Safety Code, Title 7, Subtitle A, Chapter 533a, Subchapter B, Section §533a.032(c), the stakeholders input is requested on the FY2018-2019 long range planning report at the two public meetings:

Please make comments on the draft report before the June 7, 2018 meeting. HHSC will post the draft plan on the HHSC Website prior to the second hearing and notification of the posting will be made via Gov. Delivery.
Stakeholders may present oral or written input at the two public meetings, via email or U.S. Postal Service.
