HB 2684 requires all school resource officers and independent school district police department officers at districts with an enrollment of 30,000 students or more to undergo training specific to school-based law enforcement (Course 4064). You may still take 4064 if your school district is not 30,000 or more.

AACOG’s Regional Review Committee is made up of representatives from throughout the 12 rural counties in the Alamo Region. Each county within the non-entitlement areas of the AACOG region appoints a representative to the Regional Review Committee. This committee participates in establishing scoring criteria and funding priorities that will be used to select applicants for the TxCDBG application cycle.
Local government and the public located in Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, McMullen, Medina, and Wilson Counties are invited to attend this open meeting to comment on the needs in their communities and learn more about how they can apply for a TxCDBG grant.
