National Public Safety Telecommunications Council and the National Interoperability Information eXchange (NIIX)
NPSTC, the National Public Safety Telecommunications Council, is a volunteer federation of 15 public safety organizations, whose mission is to improve public safety communications and inter-operability through collaborative leadership. NPSTC's members are the organizations representing fire, EMS, law enforcement, transportation, and other telecommunications organizations. If you wish to receive email updates on meetings and other relevant public safety communications issues, go to www.npstc.org.
The National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC) with the support of the Office for Inter-operability and Compatibility (OIC) and Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) is providing NIIX as a free service to the public safety telecommunications community. NIIX provides a centralized, secure warehouse to house communications to be shared with other members within a specific community. Registered NIIX members can access peer-created documents and share information with each other. Members can also use NIIX tools to collaborate in the creation and development of their documents.
