Rebate Grants Program
The Rebate Grants Program provides financial incentives to repower or replace older heavy-duty diesel vehicles and select non-road diesel equipment. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligible applicants include individuals, corporations, organizations and governments who operate or plan to operate on-road heavy-duty vehicles or non-road equipment in the eligible counties. In the AACOG service area these include Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe and Wilson counties.

Alternative Fueling Facilities Program (AFFP)
The AFFP provides grants for the construction of new alternative fueling facilities, or the expansion of existing facilities, in eligible counties. Eligible counties in the AACOG service area for the AFFP include: Atascosa, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Guadalupe, Karnes, Medina, McMullen and Wilson counties. Eligible fuels include natural gas (CNG and/or LNG), hydrogen, propane, electricity, methanol, and biodiesel. Alternative fueling facilities may receive up to 50% of the eligible project costs, not to exceed $600,000.

Texas Natural Gas Vehicle Grant Program (TNGVGP)
The TNGVGP provides incentive grants for entities that currently operate medium or heavy-duty gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles. Applicants may qualify for up to 90% of the cost to repower the vehicles with a natural gas or propane engine, or to replace the vehicle with a natural gas or propane vehicle. Eligible counties in the AACOG service area for the TNGVGP include: Atascosa, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Guadalupe, Karnes, Medina, McMullen and Wilson counties.
