Emissions Reduction Incentive Grant (ERIG) Now Open!
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has made approximately $50 million in grants available through the Texas Emissions Reduction Program (TERP)'s Emissions Reduction Incentive Grants (ERIG) Program.
ERIG provides grants for emissions reducing projects for on-road vehicles (GVWR > 8,500 lbs), non-road equipment, marine vessels, locomotives and stationary engines.
Eligible Applicants:
Individuals, Corporations, Organizations, Governments, School Districts, or Any Other Legal Entity
Eligible Projects:
- New Purchase or Lease
- Replacement
- Repower
- Retrofit
- Add-On of Emission-Reduction Technology
Funding: Up to 80% of the Eligible Cost
- Not to Exceed $12,500 per Ton of NOx Reduced for Locomotive or Marine Projects
- Not to Exceed $17,500 per Ton of NOx Reduced for all Other Projects
ERIG applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on August 15, 2018. Grant application forms are now available on our Web site: http://www.terpgrants.org. Applications submitted on application forms from previous ERIG or Rebate grant rounds will not be accepted.
Eligible counties for this grant round include: Bastrop, Bexar, Brazoria, Caldwell, Chambers, Collin, Comal, Dallas, Denton, El Paso, Ellis, Fort Bend, Galveston, Gregg, Guadalupe, Hardin, Harris, Harrison, Hays, Henderson, Hood, Hunt, Jefferson, Johnson, Kaufman, Liberty, Montgomery, Nueces, Orange, Parker, Rockwall, Rusk, San Patricio, Smith, Tarrant, Travis, Upshur, Victoria, Waller, Williamson, Wilson, and Wise.
