Human Resources/Legal Department Administrative Assistant
This is a non-supervisory position. Provides high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests, setting up travel arrangements, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings. Primary responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating training needs, maintaining employee training documentation, preparing invoices, reports, memos, letters and other documents; answering phone calls and directing calls to appropriate parties or taking messages; attending meetings to record minutes; greeting visitors, performing general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management database systems; filing and retrieving corporate documents, records and reports; opening, sorting, distributing incoming mail and making travel arrangements.
Essential Functions: Schedules meetings, seminars webinars, phone conferences and travel arrangements for the Human Resources Department and General Counsel; Assists the Human Resources Manager with procuring materials, room scheduling, invitations and data entry on a weekly basis; Creates various weekly reports for the Human Resources Department; Assists General Counsel in tracking and completing Open Records Requests; Performs administrative duties for the Human Resources Director and General Counsel; Schedules all applicant interviews and testing; Filing; Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Desired Degree/ Job Experience: High School or GED/ Associates Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
This position is a Pay Grade 8, with a starting hourly rate of $16.52. This is a non-exempt position. Open until Filled. Only electronic online applications will be accepted.
