(AACOG)

This is a responsible, non-supervisory position requiring familiarity with federal and state regulations; Supports Program and Accounting staff to track program expenditures and deliverables for AAA; Assists with developing written procedures for improved cross coordination and oversight of grant expenditures and benchmarks; Develops and analyzes customized reports for monitoring performance and expenditures; Plans, organizes, and maintains the accuracy of financial information recorded and reported; Monitors project expenses and cash flows and assist in tracking multiple subgrants and grantee organizations; Strengthens the oversight of grant programs and support compliance with AACOG financial policies in coordination with implementing partners, while also reducing identified risks;  Anticipates leading in project-related meetings, both virtually and in-person; Contributes to the annual work plan and performance monitoring indicators; Coordinates with different team members and stakeholders across a variety of organizations.

Provide support for Program and Accounting staff to track program expenditures and deliverables for AAA; Provides assistance with developing written procedures for improved cross coordination and oversight of grant expenditures and benchmarks; Cultivates and examines customized reports for monitoring performance and expenditures; Plans, organizes, and maintains the accuracy of financial information recorded and reported; Monitors project expenses and cash flows and assist in tracking multiple subgrants and grantee organizations; Reinforces the oversight of grant programs and support compliance with AACOG financial policies in coordination with implementing partners, while also reducing identified risks; Performs other duties as assigned. 

Desired Degree/Job Experience: Must have organizational skills and ability to multitask; Self-monitors progress according to the schedule completion to submit deliverables in a timely manner; Must have excellent writing and communication skills; Must have experience with financial records and federal and state rules and regulations; Works efficiently with large groups of data and various program budgets; Ability to identify, analyze, and suggest solutions for problems; Knowledge of contract terminology and practices is desired; Government grant experience a plus (but not required); Minimum Associates Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Public Administration, International Development, or relevant subject; May substitute four (4) years of related experience in lieu of the degree requirement; Or any combination of experience and any training which provides the knowledge skill, and abilities to perform the job.

Other Qualifications: Must have strong written skills and be proficient in Microsoft Excel; Must have the ability to read, interpret, understand, and apply standards and procedures as needed

This position is a Pay Grade 12 with a starting hourly rate of $20.68. This is a non-exempt position. Open until Filled. Only online electronic applications will be accepted.
